The role of motivation in teaching mands

This diploma thesis deals with the developement of communication skills in children with autistic spectrum disorder. The aim of this work is to explain the development of these skills by Verbal Behavior of Applied Behavioral Analysis (VB ABA), specifically in the field of children's request (manding). The thesis contains a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the basic principles of the Applied Behavioral Analysis as well as the approach Applied Behavioral Analysis - Verbal Behavior which is based on this science. In more detail, the thesis explains the manding technique and the principles of motivation, whose understanding is essential for this technique and for all VB ABA intervention. Author's research follows the progress in the manding of two children with autistic spectrum disorder during the eight-month VB ABA intervention. Also the thesis analyzes the factors that could have influenced the teaching of mands, in particular the role the child's motivation in the effective development of manding skills. A certain section of the practical part of the thesis is extracted into the annexes as a non- public part of the work in order to preserve children's anonymity. The immunostimulatory agents

This bachelor thesis is focused on the immune system and the factors that affect its function. These factors and agents are then divided into the ones positively or negatively influencing our immune system. This paper provides a list of the most effective natural and pharmaceutical resources. Each chapter discusses how a given resource or activity affects our immunity, pertinently what impact it has when our immune system lacks one of these. Relevant literature on the issue of immunity and the possibility of its strengthening was used.

Great Mothers: Female Empowerment in Selected Novels by Toni Morrison

81 Abstract This thesis argues that motherhood as depicted in Toni Morrison's novels Song of Solomon, Beloved and A Mercy is a site of female empowerment. Its emancipating potential is set against the context of slavery and patriarchy found in the narratives and shows how mothers are able to resist oppressive structures and secure their children's well-being. Slavery practices severed family ties and caused its dismemberment by separating parents from their children. In the novels under study the recovery of those ties happens in an imaginative re-writing of history. Mother figures, such as Beloved's Sethe, come to terms with the re-embodiment of a painful familial past and deal with its traumatizing effects to be able to renounce it and move on. Others like Song of Solomon's Pilate cling to their past and act as mediators between the community's history and its descendants. A re-writing of history is urgent for African American writers and peoples who share slavery pasts, and who thus need to deal with their lasting legacies in the present. Motherhood is thus identified in several recurring patterns. Toni Morrison describes physical aspects of mothering from the point of view of the mother and uses the female body as a life-giving source that cancels the objectification of female slave bodies....

In this work, I have focused on the importance of the immune system for each person. What the immune system is, and what is its function. The immune system protects the body, ensures the defensiveness of the organism against unwanted influences on it constanly. Keeping your immune system in good condition and promoting its proper function is very important for the health of everyone. Strong and resistant immune system means good health. Be health, allows us to live happier and better life. At work I said enumeration of influences affecting the immune system, strengthen him and weaken. Was used in the literature concerning the problems of the immune system and its possiblestrengthening.
